Marijuana Penny Stocks: Smaller Publicly Traded Cannabis Companies

It is estimated that the cannabis industry could grow to a size that rivals that of beer and tobacco, creating novel (though volatile) opportunities in marijuana-related stocks.

Currently, there are about 46 publicly traded Cannabis stocks in North America. GW Pharmaceuticals (GWPH), Canopy Growth (CGC),m Tilray (TLRY), Aurora (ACP) and Aphira are some of the more well-known companies, but there a number of small cap pot stocks that traders and speculators might want to check out.
